Hunger Games Attack!

May the odds be ever in your favor!

Read The Hunger Games trilogy? Then you have GOT to see the movie! Did not read it? Read it before you see it!

Once you have read it AND seen it, I want to know... Was it what you expected? Did you like the book better... or the film? Why?

  1. I haven't seen the movie yet! I am almost done reading the book. I am so excited though! The preview looks amazing, but the characters don't really look the way I pictured them. Especially Peeta. I imagined him looking much older!

Eric: The movie was really good, and displayed almost everything from the book. There were no huge changes, and it turned out really well. Though, one of the important events wasn't featured as well in the movie.

Nick: I recently viewed the "Hunger Games" and thought it was mmmarvelous!!!! I just began reading the first novel of the exquisite series. It is a great comparison to the movie so far. Hope you enjoy it!

  3. Well, i have not read the book but, saw the movie. i believe it was amazing!!! I believe that the movie didn't really express Gail life as much as i liked. It just showed that he was a friend of Katniss and they were very close. I will not say what happens but EVERYONE should read the book and watch the movie, Alot of my friends that have read the book said that it was better but, they loved the movie. i have only heard of one person that didn't like it but i think their head are not put on straight! Well, the point it that i really recommend this book for everyone! PLEASE TELL YOUR FRIENDS!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  4. @Michelle you really NEED to read it! Especially if you thought it was amazing! You will learn more about Gail and also about Katniss' background. While I was riveted by the film and felt it was a fairly good representation of the novel, I did feel it lacked in terms of back story. I did not even realize that until I had a conversation with my sister who also read the book. She mentioned that I likely did not realize that the information was missing since I HAD read the book first. I took it for granted!

@Eric which event did you feel was not featured well?

@Nick SO glad you were prompted to read the book! It is going to be an excellent journey for you! May the odds be ever in YOUR favor as well! :)
