If you like futuristic novels like The Hunger Games and you also like scary stories and movies, then this is the book for you! There is suspense at every corner... kind of like when you turn the corner of a real maze! This well written book opens up with a vivid description of Thomas, the main character, coming-to in a dark elevator. He has absolutely no recollection of who he is, where he came from, or how he got to be in the dark, metal box. Suddenly he ascends and the doors of the elevator scrape open. He finds himself in the middle of a glade at the center of a number of staring boys, all boxed in by a large maze. If you think that is scary, then wait until you find out what is INSIDE the maze...
From the first page, this book will have you asking questions and reading on hungrily to find out what happens to the characters next, how they got into the Glade, how they will get out, and what they will find when they do! Best part? There are two more books in the series, so the experience will last longer!
